This blog has taken on a whole new purpose for myself. I try to record as much as I can each month so that when I go to scrapbook each month between my blog and my baby calendar hopefully I will have everything documented. My friend Jenny mentioned that is what she does and the more I thought about it the more I realized what a great idea it was.
Also, I know at least 3 teachers read my blog regularly. I was by no means an honor student. I cannot spell, let alone write a paragraph, so please excuse my horrible writing skills!
On December 4 Jonathan and I went over to our the Glenn's to watch the SEC championship which Auburn won. It was a great game. Jon David got some lovin' from Chad.
Yesterday was Jon David's first snow. Jonathan had to work, so I bundled him up and stuck him on the deck long enough to snap some pictures. I wasn't really brave enough to get out in it with him. He loves to be outside and has missed going out everyday since it has been so cold.
As soon as the door opened the dogs came running. They love him. They look in the back door every night as we give him his bath (in the kitchen floor) and get him ready for bed. Once he starts sitting up a little better on his own he will be moving to the big tub!

One sweet snow baby!
As always on Jon David's "month birthdays" I plop him on my bed and start snapping away. He was super photogenic today or at least his momma thinks so!
I always try to get a foot shot. Your little feet are getting so chubby!
This is your new thing. You have found your ear and the side of your hair and you love to scratch/pat them. You do it more when you are sleepy and I think it is SUPER cute.
You are not and have never been a fan of tummy time. You do however love this toy Ginger Pritchard passed down to you and you love TV so if I put either in front of you you will do tummy time a few minutes. If not, you open your mouth and burry your face in the carpet and fuss, and I just can't take it, not so much the fussing but your mouth on the carpet!
Also, over Thanksgiving you found your toes!
As few other updates...as of yesterday I am trying to figure out the whole 3 naps to 2 schedule. I think we have done pretty well. Also, this morning was the last time I nursed you. I have been pretty sad about it today. I have been supplimenting with formula since 4 1/2 months and lately you haven't been getting hardly anything so it was just time. It has truly been a learning experience, and I will know a few things next time that will hopfully enable me to go longer. On the bright side I had my very first caffine this morning, a cup of coffee with peppermint mocha creamer and it was delish! After Christmas I am going to try to wean you from your miracle blanket. I tried one night last week and it was a rough night. You love it and I love you in it so this may be the hardest transition yet! You will get your 6 month shots tomorrow and you will have your 6 month check up on the 21! Next week your daddy will be off Wednesday through the following Monday for Christmas and I cannot wait to spend time with my two favorite boys!
Jon David I know I say this every month but these six months have creeped by and flown by. You are getting so fun. Weekly your dad or I say "this is my favorite age." You are getting so big and so fun! We love you so much and thank God he blessed us with you!
