Blessed

Yesterday was a day that reminded me just how blessed I am. Melanie McCarty and I have been teaching 2nd grade girls together this year. Sweet Ms. Melanie threw me a baby shower in class yesterday. The girls were bouncing with excitment. We prayed for our food when we first walked in from G-force, and three of the girls wanted to pray. If that was all we did my cup would have been full to overflowing. They prayed for Jon David to be healty, to be a good baby, to bring Jonathan and I joy, and to have a painfree delivery. They were such grown up, heart-felt prayers!
The girls each got to measure out yarn and wrap around my belly. They loved it.
Each of the girls took turns bringing up their present and getting their picture made with me. They would just giggle as I opened their present.
Mrs Melanie printed out a cute little page that said Jon David and the girls had to flip through magazines to pick out eyes, nose and mouth that they thought Jon David would have. It was so cute and they took it so seriously!

Later that afternoon I had my church shower with my church family, long time family friends and family members. Goodness just having everyone in the same room was enough to bring tears to my eyes. I pray Jon David feels as loved as I have felt all my life. Annissa and I have been so blessed to have so many people in our lives that love us.
Linda Dietz, Mrs. Paula, Kim Glenn and Tiffaney did a great job putting my shower together. They had the sweetest cake that said Future Auburn Tiger along with other goodies and punch.

I cannot begin to decribe how many wonderful gift I recieved. My Target registry was almost cleared out. It is so nice to feel a little more prepared for Jon David's arrival (9 weeks or less). I am overwhelmed with greatfulness not only for the "things" we received to help us care for our sweet baby, but for the LOVE of family and friends! The Lord has been so good to me.
My sweet Jonathan came just in time to load up the truck. I am daily more and more thankful for him. I know he will be a wonderful daddy!

Easter & 29 Weeks

Jonathan and I have been going non-stop since the move. We were able to go to Alabama to visit his family for Easter. We had a great time at his grandparents annual Easter Egg Hunt and celebrating Easter at his family's church! I only got a few pictures this trip. We headed back to Knoxville on Easter Monday. On the way home we decided we were just going to take our time. We knew this would be our last trip without a baby, so we made a day of it. We stopped at a mall in Atlanta and did a little shopping for Jon David. We also spotted a few more of our favorite stores and went to some outlets. We also got to eat at the Cheesecake Factory which was so so good. We were both full, but we had to get some cheesecake. We got the Brownie Hot Fudge Sundae and it was amazing!
This weekend I also hit week 29! The baby is starting to move more and more. I took my glucose test last week and will find out today if I passed. We finally got registered at Babies R Us and Target which was super fun. Our showers will be starting soon and before we know it we will be bringing home a baby!
