Fall FUN!

Early this fall I took Jon David to the Zoo for the first time.

We joined the Knights and the Deals for a day of fun!

This little monkey was the highlight of the day. It preformed for us for a long while. He would run back and forth and then take a flying leap and hit the glass.

Jon David's cousins love his so much.

They are always will to push him, play with him, or just chase after him.

Jon David and Asher LOVED this play area. It is the best thing I have seen them have in that little area. It had tons of activities. They could have played in there all day.

On Saturday October 15 we went to Oaks Farms with my family. The day before was Annissa's birthday so we celebrated at Carabas.

Sweet Blainey Boy!
James was so sweet to take Jon David into the play area to play with Brinlee

I LOVE this picture of Mom and Brinlee!

As much as I wish my boy was a snuggler he is NOT, so I am a little jealous my dad got to get some sweet lovin from him. I love this picture too. It couldn't be sweeter!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day. Jonathan and I really try to guard or weekends. He gets home so close to Jon David's bedtime each night we try to spend as much time as a family as we can on the weekends!

I had some trouble trying to get a good picture of my teething boy. He either had his hands in his mouth or is making a silly face. He has been cutting 4 teeth for a month now. He is the SLOWEST teether!

On the Thursday night before Halloween. The Trents, The Knights, and The Troutts headed over to Central Baptist Fountian City for their Fall Festival.

On Halloween night we took our little Flyfisher man over to Gibbs Drive to Trick-or-Treat with the Knights. It is always so fun to watch Asher because it gives me an idea of how Jon David will be next year. Asher really caught on. He would see a house and start running towards it to get his candy!

When Jonathan saw this costume Jon David had to have it because Jonathan loves to fish so much. Of course I think he is ADORABLE!

15 Months

Jon David,

Two weeks ago you turned 15 months old. Mommy is way behind on blogging these days. Last week we went back to "the Valley" for the second time this month. Our first Trip was your Grandaddy Hall's 80th birthday party, and our second trip was for your dad to go deep sea fishing with your Pop and Uncle Brad. You spent the weekend with me, your NeeNee and your Aunt Amy. We had a great time shopping and catching up.

Mommy has been terrible about taking pictures on our trips. This is the only one I got in 10 days! We got up Saturday morning and ate at the Country Store in Pine Mtn, GA. Look how long your legs are! Last week you officially became a walker! You have been crawling all summer and finally decided to take off!

Here are a few things you can be found with on a daily basis:

Your blankey and passy

the remote (especially in the evenings with daddy)

and you love to crawl around with the Milicon bottle.

Other things you love:

*Pulling the things that hang from a fan
*Turning light switches
*Pushing the button to shut the garage door
*Opening the microwave

Here's what you are saying
Ball, MaMa, DaDa, Night-Night, Touchdown, Bye-Bye, Ut-oh, Thank you

Today Honey, Nana, and I took you to the New Harvest Park and you LOVED it. You can do so much more now that you are walking, and they had a great selection of things for you to play on. Later this week you will go to the Zoo for the first time.

I have so enjoyed our summer together. You are getting bigger and more independant everyday. I am so blessed to get to watch you grow and spend my days with you!

I love you,

Mommy

A New Love

I am in LOVE!

My sweet nephew Blaine is 10 days old today. I got some good snuggle time in with him this morning. I forgot how sweet it is to hold a sleeping newborn.
I am so proud of my sissy. She did a great job, and is handling life with 2 babies under 5 months old very well.

We love you Blaine Robert and are so thankful the Lord created you!

Summer Catch Up

I am so behind this summer! I wanted to catch up tonight before my sweet nephew is born tomorrow! I'm sure I will want to a do a post on him later this week. It was so hard to narrow down pictures for the blog. I have over 500 from the summer. We have been on the go nearly everyday. If we haven't been out of town we've been at the pool. Wendi and I have taken a couple of trips to Alabama this summer. We load all six kids in the Yukon and don't stop til we get there. We have had so much fun spending time there this summer we have done lots of shopping and stayed up late to play cards. It's super nice to have Jonathan's parents help for the week. It's like a mini vacation.

All cousins close in age need a picture like this.

Lil' Art wanted to get his picture with Jon David on this Tiger.

Jon David's first Birthday party was a light blue and white cupcake theme. His cousin Tinsley made the cupcakes. She is starting a little business. Her cupcakes really taste amazing and look awesome!

I just love this picture of Jon David with most of his cousins.

He loved his cupcake.

Jonathan's sweet brother Brad, his wife Amy and their 2 boys Brandon and Kody came Jon David's birthday weekend to help celebrate. The evening of Jon David's party we (along with the Knights) took them to The Mast General Store and also down by the river walk. We had the best time!

The kids playing at the River Walk

That weekend was also Father's Day weekend. We had bruch with Jonathan's parents, grandparents, and the Knights.
A few days later we left to go camping. It was a crazy week. It rained the first 3 days. Jon David just wanted down. We had to get very creative. We spent lots of time in the camper and the van.

Dad loved getting to spend the week with our sweet boy.
He loved riding around in his wagon.
Everything is more difficult camping. Ex. boiling water for a bath.
I love this picture of our family at the cascades.

Sweet Jayden on 4th of July

Wendi had us over and the kids played in their inflatable, the guys passed football, and we grilled out. It was the perfect 4th!

Mid-July we took Jon David on his first beach trip. We went to Panama City with Jonathan's family.
He like playing in the sand the first day.

Two of my favorite things we did were:1. went with Jonathan's parents to this neat place with tons of stores and ate at the Backporch. 2. Jonathan went on a date to Seaside to see a concert. We had the best time. I am dying to go back there!
